  Blackwood benchtop

  Origin	A medium sized hardwood of occasional occurrence in the tableland areas of South Australia and all the eastern states, but the only areas of considerable commercial yield are the wetter districts of Tasmania.
  Appearance	Heartwood is golden brown, often with narrow bands of darker colour indicative of the growth rings. Sometimes reddish streaks are also present. Sapwood is distinctively paler. Grain is usually straight but sometimes wavy.

  Origin	A large hardwood growing in the South-West corner of Western Australia.

  American Oak Benchtop

  Origin	A common medium sized hardwood of central North America.
  Appearance	Heartwood pale yellow-brown to mid-brown, also sometimes with a pink tinge to it. The heavy backsawn grain makes this a highly figured and attractive timber. Clear coatings and tinted or stained finishes are common on this timber.
  Common Uses	Benchtops, Solid timber flooring, Engineered timber floor coverings and some fine furniture.
